my cd player stopped working in the car so i decided to go double din. Its so hard finding a proper unit for a good price lol. Anyone know where they go cheap or on sale or something. Been checking the market place for a while but not much there, w/e came up got sold or sellers stopped replying

LOL everything works but the cd player, and they arent stuck i think the lasers just gone bad or somthing.

 

It's eventually going to get worse, I didn't want to believe it either as it happened to me recently, I was just going to switch in another stock one but decided to fix it for good with a DD. I checked around and like all car parts, Canada sucks for prices unless you're lucky enough to catch a sale. I got everything from ebay and will be picking it up in the US when I visit. From what I read, the Kenwoods are the best.

I tried contacting Kromer, Audio Video 2001 and Oxford Audio, all 3 had different but similiar units and couldn't come close to ebay prices. Select a powerseller one ebay, usually safer.

 

ya i just grabbed the Kenwood DNX7100 for a pretty decent price off of craigslist

 

Look at buying a DD over the border. I purchased an F90BT over ebay for $600 USD shipped, the same stereo sells for 1200-1300 tax in over here.

You can have it shipped there and install it on the spot........
