452's did quite well to my surprise, but it was on very low accumulation, I see a small amount out my window but I think by morning with the morning commute most of the accumulation will be melted........... hopefully

^^Where do you guys live in TO?
I saw some snow on the ground but nothing that made me think I put my summers on too soon; the Falkens gripped just fine today and yesterday with heavy accelerating on turns to see if the back end would slide out

Phew, good thing we didn't get a lot of snow in my area. However, this morning was pretty brutal for me thanks to icy roads. Plus, I had a hard time opening my door and trunk since they were jammed shut. Oh well, looks like the weather is getting better (for real) now.

Lots of snow here in Northern Ontario (Sudbury/North Bay)!! Shilohap in Sudbury was supposed to get his G-coupe out last weekend - hope he has other wheels. Been driving my Pathfinder for the past few days (in 4X4 no less). Thankfully I have a garage to shelter my own G. Gettin sick of the snow now .... please go away!

Your trip on Friday should be fine. Here in North Bay the snow is finished at noon today and although tomorrow is cloudy, it's supposed to be well above zero. Friday (and the long weekend here) is supposed to be sunny and warm, so whatever snow is here on the ground now will likely be long gone by the time you get to Temiskaming Shores. Your car will be popular in that location - I don't think there are a whole lot of G's running around that neck of the woods.

haha you're right, every time I go past Richmond Hill I get the stare down, and especially past Muskokas... there are no dealerships so very uncommon. I bet you get alot a looks in the bay. 11 running norht from the Bay to Timmins is horrible though, Im always so worried about bending a Volk, which is why I dont make the trek home too often...

Well the tire gods felt I put my new summer tires on to early. I had them put on Friday and one of my backs blew up today. I got about 100km on them The Michelin rep for my local tire place is coming to take a look at the carnage but the tire guys figure it will not be considered a tire defect. They're hoping they'll still replace it free of charge due to just how little they've been driven. The worst case scenario they'll say it was a road hazard that caused it and I'll end up paying for another tire.

That sounds a little whacky to me. Either you had a defective tire or it was over-inflated. Good luck with the replacement.

It did not technically blow up per say more like the entire sidewall was ripped apart.

So in the end they were willing to do a 50% price adjustment on the new tire. The 50% revolved around the fact these were not the size recommended for a g35. If I had just put the OEM wheels on with OEM tire sizes they probably would have given me a free tire. Since I have volk gtf's that's a "we do not recommended the size of tires you used or the wheels you have". If I wanted to have them fully inspected which meant going back to Michelin I may have ended up with nothing. It was highly likely they'd say a road hazard caused what happened.

I'm now going to be paranoid all summer about another tire failing. I stuck with the pilot sports after my last set lasted for a long time and the performance was good as well.

decisions, decisions......

so its supposed to be 18c and sunny tomorrow (Friday) and then 4c and rainy next Tuesday. I'm dying to throw on the summer shoes but I think I'm going to have to hold off for at least another week.
