I would stick with mobil 1 since it is on sale often enough or castrol syntec, you dont hear much about quaker state anymore.

Well canadian tire usually has one on sale every few weeks castrol was a few weeks ago before that mobil 1. You would also need another quart of oil as that is 4.4L and the G35 takes 4.7L, so what I did was get the 5L castrol syntec jug at walmart for $38. ($31~ at CDN tire on sale) That wasnt so bad of a deal and it has been running great.

Besides Crappy Tire, Walmart also carries Mobil 1 and does have sales on it.

That should be an alright time period of changing. Just to note canadian tire has their jugs of castrol syntec on sale for $30.99 starting today.

Picking a synthetic oil is subjective. Nothing wrong with Quaker State it is used in professional racing. I use Mobil. I wouldn't hesitate to use Quaker.

For me personally I like to stay with the same brand of oil, I don't like to keep switching brands of synthetic regularly. It's probably okay nowadays but that is the way I feel about it. Me and my old ways .
