hey, no but this guy on my msn does but he is always busy. I'll check with him b4 posting his info. I had the tsx/s2000 ones done on my TL.

Nice... I finally met someone on the forum : well almost.

I was planning to head up to audioheaven n 200 mulock dr yes but ran outta time.

Had my freon refilled yesterday but the mechanic didn't find any leaks. So he put the die in and is going to recheck in a week. I wonder how my ac stopped working. Sigh.

Oh, I also spotted another ip G 2 days ago near mccowan n sheppard turning on to sheppard going west (same intersection I saw Gordon). I wonder who that was. It was dropped with rims.

I should be getting back the G tonight. I'm currently working on a project that will hopefully be an interest to everyone once completed. I don't want to give out the details yet but as a hint, "variable tint"

Hopefully not that fading chrome tint, eek!!! But I have seen some rare ones done tastefully.

hey guys, been really busy at work today!!

hmm the Retro cost around 900$ + new headlights so about 1100$ The guy isn't online so i'll check up with him via email... I noticed many of the users here go to a certain website that mods our headlights for about 1700$ for the pair.. which i think is a RIP OFF!!!! a simple front end will damage our "sticking out" headlights easily..

From my experience, retros cost around 1000$ max... doesn't matter what type of headlight since the labour is about the same. (heating, opening up, painting, molding, etc.) (i can understand if our headlights have moving parts with the steering if its gonna cost like 1700$ ) .... and putting leds in your headlights takes about 2 hours and 20$ in materials lol... If anyone is up for this, i don't mind working together.

I'll get a quote for quad projectors (labour + parts) for the G once i get a reply from my buddy.

As for the variable tint........ IT IS NOT ONE OF THOSE GRADIENT tints.. ewwww totally not a fan of them... i'll say 1 last thing about the project..... since its a very personal project that I have been heavily researching and I rather show it off once its done so all of us can enjoy...

1. I walk up to my car -> it unlocks by itself, the windows become clear.....
2. I walk away from my car -> it locks, the windows become tinted (i can set the level, 0-80% )

3. THE HEADLIGHTs/TAIL LIGHTS will do the same thing.

[I was inspired when i first saw MEN IN BLACK 1, Will Smith locks his mercedes super flying car and the headlights simply blacked out...]

Issues i'm currently working with: Reliability in the front windows. (i'm opening/closing all the time)
Rear windows are a success.

That tint is sick.. similar the the system on the Ferrari right?
I would guess it works similar to privacy glass with the current running through the fluid... just my guess I def want to see the final project!

If i can get some help or maybe during the next meet, I would be more then happy to show off some of my other projects from my TL... maybe we can create some DYIs.

The TL has rear massaging seats + heat (looks 100% factory), the controls are integrated onto the doors like factory controls.

Internet/Camera system with FREE streaming to your phone. For example, you can be inside a restaurant and you will be able to check the cameras from the car (interior/exterior) on your phone in real time with recording FOR FREE!!! no data charges.

When the car slows down to a red light (5-0 km/h), the underkit (RED NEON) will light up so the car is glowing red at a stop light. When i start driving, the neon will turn off (and it will not turn on while pressing the brake on the highway etc. due to the speed control)

I noticed KP Technologies sells the speed module, i was wondering if they can integrate this output into the module so you can let the car do anything when its slowing down from 5-0 km/h. (anything higher would result in the lights going on and off during rush hour traffic)

Please let me know what you guys think.

Hey Bougizu, its the same technology. except the Ferraris only have it for the sunroof only (as well as the maybach). I want it for everything, from the headlights, to the windows, MAYBE EVEN THE WINDSHIELD (which will be the last thing since a failure / short circuit can really **** me up lol)

This way, i can prevent someone from looking inside the car while i'm having crazy hot sex with my gf when the mood strikes! lol......

I'm a Technology Specialist :P ... I pretty much deal with integration of all sorts of stuff.

Lets just say, there is a whole bunch of stuff that I can't wait to talk about! I respect everyone with their own style but I love to get creative and do something that no one has done before :P

At one point last year, I was cruising around with live tv (cp24) and my entire rear window as the screen. crystal clear 30 frames per second.

and believe it or not, this is not as far fetched as it sounds. Very easy to do and guess whaT? you don't need to spend over 500$ on a projector or get a crazy antenna on top of your car.

i'll show you guys a demo of it soon. I'm in the process of encoding all my projects/videos/pictures.

P.S: If anyone is interested in SLOW MOTION capture? .... Give me a shout. I own the EX-F1 and all i can say is..... You can be going at 100 km per hour and the camera will be able to capture every detail of your rim spinning!!! 300, 600 and an insane 1200 FPS!!!!!!!

I'm currently in the process of making my own "lexus - pursuit to perfection" commercial where you see a car speeding and then it slows down super slow motion to the point where u see the guy just relaxed and his hair going back and then it cuts to the car speeding off again....

k i can't find it.. but you'll see it once i'm complete.. If anyone is into these type of slow motion capture, give me a shout.. thanks

MOds, is it possible to have a subforum named "projects" in the canada section?

i would love to see ideas being shared by everyone but its nice to be able to meet the people and work together on them from the same region. If you guys can't, its cool.

lol honestly I think the biggest project we've had was putting 2007+ projectors into lower models.

Your stuff is straight out of popular mechanics or something, lol. Would definately like to see it someday.

eheh soon! when i finally get to meet ppl from this forum, i can 1. show everything in person or 2. post videos (which will take time).

HEY!!! Are the 07 projectors better then our lens? At the time I had my quad projectors installed, the S2000 and the TSX carried the best lens with the best cutoff. hmmmmm interesting.... unless your talking about putting the entire headlight onto a 1st gen G. in that case, i'll stick to my low risk projects :P
