replacing my xenon bulbs (HID's)

I called a dealer today and they want 350 EACH BULB plus tax!!!
I visited Canadian tire and they stated that they have bulbs for 150 each...I'm wondering if the bulbs are the same or are the Canadian tire bulbs cheaper quality? Anyone deal with replacing these yet?

The stock bulbs are Philips. I don't know if Canadian Tire carries that brand, but check in the Marketplace, some one might be selling their bulbs (if they upgraded). That's what I did.

damn... thats a rip off.... i get my HID bulbs for aroun 20-30$ each... 8000K ... for my TL.. i have hids for the high/low beam and fog lights... not to mention, the bulbs for the fogs went out several times (since they FLASH when i flicker the highbeam because our law only allows 2 set of lights to be on at the same time so the fogs turn off and on during highbeam flickering)

anyways, i'll call up the guy and ask to see how much hids are as the prices i paid were last year. p.s: i was able to directly insert an 8000k bulb onto my factory acura tl balast without any problems, most likely, we can do the same with the G so no need to purchase an entire new kit

i'll give you guys the update tomorrow... very very sick right now... doctor said i have an infection and i shouldn't interact with anyone as its contagious.... *AWESOME , i'm a walking plague*

The price is $300 for just bulbs not a new HID kit. I wouldn't put some no name bulbs in either. PIAA, Phillips or other known names.

Just make sure you have the right bulb (D2R or D2S) and check the classifieds (Kijiji, craigslist, ebay etc.), I got a pr of D2S off a 1yr old G for $80 bux shipped from BC -> Ont.

According to this: http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...de/default.htm

9003/HB2 would be the replacement bulb for the fogs, however, keep in mind these are halogen bulbs for the fogs/daytime. If you want HID, you would need a full HID conversion kit which to some people is not recommended due to glare. (I'm not biased, I just go with the flow).

So does anyone actually have a good store / shop recommendation to go to (GTA) that has quality / brand name HID bulbs?

Just wondering when the time comes where I should go.
