I've been looking for 6 or 8000K bulbs for a while but up here in Waterloo region I don't think there is a shop that carry them for a decent price. I got quoted $480. for a set of PIAA's If I can find a set for around $150. I'd buy a pair.
If any of you have a hook up or know of a place if you could do me a favour and purchase them and I'll give you the cash at the meet. Just PM me.

It's one of those bulbs from the hid kits available at pacific mall. I don't see a problem as I never had Any problems with them and keep in mind, when you install a aftermArket hid kit, u r using aftermarket bulbs.

They are 40$ each , any k, Any type.

If you are getting anything higher then 4300k, you are scarificing lumens already... 8000k has very poor lighting. And makes you tired faster.
(red Is the most friendly, keeps us alerted, that's why anything below 4300k are easily
Recognized and easy on the eyes (3000k - yellow fogs). (submarines have red lights inside so the crew stays alert n not get tired)

Crazy eh? Ya so whocares about philips and Piaa UNLESS you want the stock color n lumens

Philips and PIAA are one of the highest quailty bulbs that u can buy. Why cheap out when your buying headlights. My Philips are 6000k not 4300k like stock also the colour is different.

stock is 4300, however, some car models come stock with 6000K (acura tsx for example). i'm getting these bulbs from this guy who sources it to pacific mall as well as other places in bulk. He knows my buddy (who owns a shop which i will present during our meet) so he can't hustle me into paying more cuz i know all the wholesale pricing.

now, philips and piaa are great, but your paying for the brand, just like you pay extra for something at holts... they are reliable but when you compare it with these new products, the difference is not that big...

dont' get me wrong, i support branded stuff but my TL has quad HIDS, (1 stock + 3 aftermarket kits) and never had a problem with any. My buddies all use the same kit and never had any problems and when customers come to use with stuff from Canadian tire (piaa etc.), we are shocked that they paid 300$+ for something that will make no difference.

THE ONLY WAY HIDS will fail on you is if you continously flicker them on and off, otherwise, they will last a longgg time! once again, this is through experience, maybe some of you had bad experience with really cheap kits that melt the wires and stuff... the stuff this guy sells is the standard kits at pacific mall around 200$ (pacific mall price)

if you guys are happy with your hids, stick with your products (philips etc.) but if you are interested in putting in a whole bunch of new kits, give me a shout as i can get you the best price possible.

Well I would like a pair of 6000K's. I don't want to be stuck with a burnt out headlight one day and having to hunt the GTA for replacements.

I'm coming to the meet, will you be bringing any bulbs with you, if not, can you? How much $$? and they need to fit my 08 G sedan (if there is any difference)

QUAD HIDS is just 4 HID kits .... and first, i need to know your bulb type. then i can contact my buddy and ask for pricing.

i don't mind getting any of the bulbs for you guys, but i first need to know the bulb type + kelvin.

thanks.
