Well the time has come to get the car painted. Dropped it off at Joey's place in Edmonton today. Should have it back in two or three weeks. Here is a before pic.

What color u doing it?? and if you don't mind me asking what is he charging u to paint it...

 

2-3 weeks for what? bumper and sides? or the entire car?

 

Just sticking with the same red. He is painting most of the car. Bumper, sides, hood, doors,rear bumper. Not sure of the price but he is not cheap by any means. Car should be done in two but im going on holidays for a week so i told him he can have in for three.

 

2-3 weeks is normal for high end body shops that are busy. It takes more time to fit things properly it would be alot quicker if they just paint them and bolt them on like most shops but Joeys is a very high end custom shop that does sick work. I can't wait to see it when its done with the paint and wheels.

When are you going to NYC? Just wondering if your gone while i am putting my engine in?

just curious, why did it need a paint job? sorry the pic doesn't work for me...

 

The front bumper is black the side skirts are white and touching up some parts on the car.

well i went and saw the car. Still all taped up and stuff. No pics to show sorry. It looks good so far.

 

Think it'll be done before your vacation? Not that you want it rushed whatsoever, hopefully the shop is taking the time to do it just right.

 

i doubt i will have back before vacation. They better take there time for the money im paying.
