lol york students are in a hell of cramming session eh? I barely saw my friends who attended york on my two weeks visit to Toronto just because they were too busy writing exams and studying.

haha stupid strike that got york TAs nothing. Go Ryerson!

 

The strike was Amazing....i did nothing but sleep for 2 and a half months, didnt have to drive in the winter, when uni started all proffs were much more lenient with marking and dropped many assignments, uni only got extended by 3-4weeks so we profitted like 1.5 months of vacation, and summer schools been shortened to, Strike FTMFW

yea and for 4th year student applying for grad school were completely screwed at york lol and with all the cramming you got im sure you could of done better for ur exams i had like a week in between my exams lol

 

Yeah the Strike SUCKED in my opinion. Of course for the first week it was amazing, but then it got boring (which was evident throughout the posts that I made during the strike haha). Plus, it was hard to actually go out and travel since I personally always had that thing in the back of my head that "what if school starts tomorrow" since the strike was so unpredictable. Yeah the Profs. cut out a fair amount of stuff, but then again, that is only screwing us over in the long run since that information could have helped us in 2nd+ year courses. And having classes up until the day before exams actually started sucked since we didn't get enough time to absorb all the information. Cramming FTL. Also, ending a month later than the rest of the Uni's and having my friends back home partying sucked since I couldn't meet up with them. Half my friends thought I was dead lol. Strikes are horrible and I hope no one will have to encounter them.
