WOW, I never realized how FLUSH those rims are on a Sedan... Not using spacers are you?

No spacers, that's just how they fit.

Thanks, A, me too! I think silver and green are naturally-complementary colours.

None at all, Randy, in fact I was just commenting to Dustin that even with all the crap I had in the back on the way home - 3 wheels (two in the back seat LOL), 2 toolboxes, my electric impact, a floor jack and all my old springs -- NO rubbing on the way home, though the gap was less than one finger. Once I took all the stuff out, the gap came back up a little to a finger-plus.

What tires are you running on them, Wayne?
Did you buy them new, or as part of the used wheel deal?
(I need to replace my OEM's in the spring, looking for recommendations)

^^ running stock coupe sizes that came on the wheels: 225/40 front and 245/40 rear. I've done a fair bit of reading/PMing and will be looking for 245/35 front and 255/35 rear, I think they will fill the gaps best. That's Texan1's setup and I think he has it nailed.

I think once your springs settle a bit you may experience some rubbing.

^^ It's possible, though they are sport coupe springs, so a little longer than Z springs (debatable, I've measured) and stiffer, 427lb IIRC. I would think that 300km with ~300lbs in the back ought to have settled them by now.

BTW Coach, the tires are BS RE050's front and Falken 452's rear. One or the other is ELL OH DUBYA DEE!! I'll probably get a summer out of them, then replace them in spring, unless I stumble across a wicked deal in the meantime.

I had to talk him into letting me trade him some stuff; let's just say it was an insane deal in my favour.

I won't be able to make it up to Red Deer. We are heading off to BC tomorrow for a little extended long weekend action.

Have fun.
