Compression rods replaced today at Speedstar
My front passenger side has been clunking since middle of winter. I finally bit the bullet and ordered a set of revised compression rods from Riverside Infiniti for $411 CAD + $160 CAD shipping brokage etc (this is for the AWD, RWD is a bit cheaper). It is still cheaper than the $300 a side the guy from Kijiji is asking for.
I had the guys at Speedstar install them today, great job as always. No more clunking. It was about 2hrs worth of labour since the bolts were seized and a lot of banging was involved. If any of you guys are looking to get this done, you may want to give them call. -> http://www.speedstar.com/

^ yea most likely going to buy them through him trying to find a shop in the west-end that will install them...should I replace just the passenger side or do both one time?

If you are buying them through the kijiji guy i would just do the one side first, but mroe than likely if you have the cash you might as well do them both because the other side will more than likely go. You have to do an alignment after so your saving yourself and extra alignment. When I did my driver side compression rod, a month later the passenger side went on me, so its up to you.
That is awesome I wish I knew someone like that, you must save a ton of money.
i took it to my mechanic he said its not my compression rods...yet...its the bushing on the passenger side control arm, should I just leave it until spring time?
also was thinking of raising my car for the winter, I tried myself while my car was on the hoist man the rear coilovers are pain the *** any1 know a easier way to adjust the rear?
I was just thinking of taking it back to the shop that did my suspension they said they'd do it for $50-60

I'm sorry, but I personally don't trust those guys at Speedstar.
I've got some parts installed there when I used to own an RX-8,
and they didn't go a very good job at all.
Just sharing my opinion with people, for those who want feedbacks

Ya Arthur that's what I bought mine for. My car will be getting done in the spring before she goes back on the road, I also have a friend who charges me $40./hr to do the work on my car and he usually throws in a free hr (allot better than the stealership).
He'll be doing my compression rods, coupe brakes & Rotors, Headders and HFC/Testpipes whenever I get them. It'll be a big job hopfully I'll have the cash by then my basement is keeping finances low right now.
