Who is thinkin' up a spot to meet? If we park at the beach at the end of the strip we have to pay for parking. Anyone know of any parking lots or anything near by?

I might head down there next weekend during the day to scout it out and then I'll get an address and show via satellite on google maps

As for a time, I would say 11ish? so the Toronto guys don't have to get up at 8am. I am down for meeting with all the Toronto guys on their journey then we could pick up sam or anyone else from waterloo/kitchener area.

 

We will have to pay for parking for sure if we are meeting by the beach (it is usually $10/day or a few $/hour) . We could meet on the other side of the river where there are a quite a few spots we could park free, then travel over to the beach side together later if we wanted.

just an fyi, its like 2 and a half hour drive to get there from toronto, so its not bad, but if you get there after 11am, its crazy!!!!! to get to the beach, or anywhere close to. its 1 main road to the beach, imagine Wasaga only I think more cars trying to get through, so I recommend getting there as early as possible if we want a chance to meet / park together....

the best idea would be if we all, or at least some of us could meet up and drive up together....

 

I strongly agree - all Toronto locals should meet before heading out all together - I think this way, we can stay together, traffic or not as well as get a feel for how many of us there will be - can we find a central spot to meet on the highway?

 

Sounds like fun put me down for 50/50 as well. Have to make sure to get off work.

Hmm I'd love to go but my Girls B-day party is on Sat so depending on how much of a mess my Family leaves I'm a 50/50 for Sunday. My Bro will probably only go if i do but Ill ask him.
Grand Bend is real nice i was there in July camping at the pinery we got lucky with the weather that week. I also DJ'd at the bar called Coco's on the main strip.

P.S All you single guys bring your A game the beach girls are HOTT!!!!

If the Toronto guys are meeting up then you gotta meet up with me too! I don't want a lonely drive there. Once you guys figure out where you're meeting and everything I'll find a spot along the way for me to tag along.

yeah i was there camping in July also.. try to go there once a year.. great place.. awesome beach and great bars too... I'm down for this, add me to the list...
for the Tdot / Suaga guys, lets meat of the highway somewhere and drive up...

as for parking, if we get there early enough, we can park pretty close to the beach, and I'm pretty sure we all can afford $10 for parking...
