Angry Bird**** or Mucus? :(

I went for a short drive... parked the G for a solid 2 minutes tops, came home to have a lil get together with Mr. Hennessy when i was in for a suprise....

did the usual round about around my car to check for any new dings and scratches and was shocked to see this whitish, yet yellowish substance on my driverside headlight....

it was very dry, though I didn't touch it to confirm myself... the look on my face could've killed the person who did it... thats how angry i was!! I was angry because it looked like saliva... WHO THE **** spits on someone's car?

It was kinda dark, around 9:30pm.. so i doubt there were any birds going for a **** run and seriously... the person that did it clearly coughed it up before he decided to shoot.

****en grade A *******. ... i know this thread is useless without a pic... but I just wanted to pour my sad story to the rest of u. How would you guys react to this? ...

Obviously, i'll be cleaning it up (i haven't yet since Pikus has given me a good lesson on rubbing stuff off the car) but i can't believe these jealous idiots...

in fact, its not even about someone doing something to the car.. it just bothers me that someone coughed up a **** load of mucus and decided to spit on my car... which is like spitting on me.. grrr!!!

now.. i starrd at it for a while.. trying to figure out if it could be bird droppings or not.... it has some yellowish colour inside of it.. but mosty white... i'll upload a pic in case someone can make me happy by confirming its bird**** instead

That sucks and I know a little how you feel. Someone did that to my left front fender a few weeks ago at night. I just had it polished the end of may before the NewMarket meet and a few weeks later someone does this.
I put a wet soaked cloth over it for a while to soften it up to the point where it could be rinced of with the garden hose. It actually etched the clearcoat enough that I had to take the ScratchX to it.
Some people are just scum.

Probably better that it's some A-hole's goober since it would be much less acidic and less likely to leave a stain or attack the paint or plastic it landed on.

Some people are just so jealous, have no respect for other people and their property and cannot be trusted at all with your back turned, even for 2 minutes... as you found out.

It's probably better if you don't catch someone doing this. You just might do something you will regret.....

Be thankful the scumsucker didn't key your ride and try not to park in areas that aren't travelled much.

Good luck,
Colin.

thanks for the feedback guys... i got it cleaned.... and Colin, your so right about me catching the guy doing it... because i probably would've done something that would regret.... in fact, i confronted this other dude the other day who kept eyeing my car and would even wait around until i was gone.... I asked him, if there was a problem and he replied "DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM?"... i then said "well... you seem to be hanging around often.. whats the problem? let me know.... " and he basically replied "DO YOU WANT A PROBLEM?" .... man... that just pushed me off limits and lets just say.. he doesn't look at me or the car anymore... I have a camera setup in the car now.. that records 24/7... (this was after the spitting incident since i think it was him) ...

I got this camera that records to an SDCARD and recycles every day or so (depends on the size of the card) so if anything was to happen, you can always go back to see who did it... if anyone is interested in something like this.. i can hook u guys up.. the quality is ok ... not the greatest but enough to find out what happened and who did it....

I hate this....having to watch out for idiots everywhere i go.... why does it have to be like this... totally sucks !! ...

anyways, since i cleaned it before the pic.. .too late :P ... but i can see i'm not alone...

during the cleaning however, i have confirmed it to be Saliva since it washed off very easily.... !

All i can say is, when i see anyone's ride... even if its slightly modified, i respect it like my own car.... because only the owner knows how much time they put into it... and how much it means to them....
