Wanted... Volunteer with G35X

As the title suggests. A few guys have been asking about the sprint booster to fit the g35x. The problem with the X model is the gas pedal is a different design than the coupe or the sedan. Not sure why Infiniti did that, but oh well.

Now a little background. If there are 400 new cars on the market there are actual only about 50 different gas pedals for all those cars. (both those numbers are made up but just to prove a point.)
Gm and Nissan use the same gas pedal in some of the models. So in most cases, when looking for a sprint booster for your car it is just a matter of finding the right one to fit your pedal. Obviously there are some differences in the electronics of that pedal. For example of the six wires in a typical pedal Gm will use maybe the red wire to go to the ECU whereas Nissan may use the green. But if we can find the right one to fit your vehicle it is just a matter of requesting the proper electronics for your particular vehicle.

So if anyone would like to volunteer about 20-30 minutes of their time to test fit a few sprint boosters and possibly take one for a test drive please pm me and I will give you the contact info on how to get this done. You would have to go to Mississauga for the test fitting and test drive.

These things are all made in the UK so a lot of the cars we have here are obviously not available over there, and this is the reason we are requesting test vehicles. We are pretty sure that the M45 and the G35X are using the same gas pedal, in which case it should work without a hitch. As another example, the Nissan Xterra from 2005 uses the same pedal and electronics as the 03 Nissan Maxima. It uses the same plug as the G35 and the 350Z but 2 wires were switched to make them compatible.

so again, pm me and I'll help set you up for the test. They will install the unit for you, and you can take the car for a drive. You won't even get your hands dirty.
