Alright guys, since no one really took charge in the last thread, here's an updated, more straightforward and organized approach to the Grand Bend meet - I'm setting this up because I really want to get an opportunity to meet all of you and I feel the last thread was too up in the air to get anything accomplished.

9:00am - GTA Drivers meet in front of "The Bay" in the Yorkdale Mall Parking Lot.

9:15am - GTA Drivers move out in convoy towards Kitchener, Ontario.

10:15pm-10:30pm (approx.) - GTA Drivers convene with Kitchener Drivers at Sunrise Plaza.

"The Sunrise Plaza, either the Home Depot Lot or the Walmart lot.
1450 Ottawa Street South
Kitchener, ON N2E 4E2"

10:45pm - Drivers continue in Convoy towards Grand Bend Ontario.

Arrival in Grand Bend - Drivers choose a convenient spot on the main street of Grand Bend Ontario (Parallel to the water on the east side - Shorline Drive or Ontario Street should sufficient streets to meet on - this can be confirmed tommorow) - this ensures all drivers arriving alone can find the rest of the Gs quickly and easily.

From there, a convenient meet spot can be chosen. There are many accommodation opportunities available for individuals wanting to enjoy the beach and the town for longer than one day.

If you want to be added to the list and or would like to be informed on any other information - post in this thread - most information will be pulled from previous discussion.

We are supposed to meeting at sunrise at 9am...

 

I am confused I am not going to park my FX35 all day on the main street and wait for a G35 to go by, then pull out and follow them. I never park on the main street, ever, let alone sit in it for hours waiting for someone to show up. There have been no times mentioned for meeting in Grand Bend.

Eyz, props to you for at least tryng to get some organization to this meet

 

Yea there was, 11. As stated in the original thread. 2 hours (drive time) after we meet at sunrise.

The times can be edited - we can meet in the Yorkdale parking lot at 9:00am

These were just approximates seeing as a lot of people had NO idea there were any times at all.

I'll await your conformation and then change the times.

 

Also, since no one is really familiar with the area, having a dead set meeting place is almost impossible which is why the convoy will need to work without a hitch - I'll be happy to give some contact info to anyone meeting solo in grand bend in order to meet with the rest of the crew if necessary.

I didn't mean wait for the Gs to arrive, I was suggesting the Gs pick a spot easily found from the main street: meaning anyone meeting up in Grand Bend individually could do a quick zip up the main street and see the rest of the Gs quickly and easily.

I know I'll be there tomorrow regardless (I will make the stops at Yorkdale and the like as well) hope to see you in the area.

10:15ish sounds good for the sunrise meet, I don't think you should have much trouble with traffic since it's a Sunday. Hopefully everyone will be on time to yorkdale.

Also everyone keep in mind, no *** hole driving for this meet. The detail meet supposedly had some people who were rather aggressive. Also the grand bend area is pretty bad for sneaky cops. They know people think they can book it so they nail em for it pretty badly.

I haven't heard from any of the Z guys lately but 10s a good number I'm excited to see who shows up!

 

Alright sounds like a plan - I'll be at Yorkdale at 9:00am tomorrow waiting for the Toronto end of this meet.
