Great clear bra install - 2

Had the CR-V detailed by Kevin and then Marco put on a clear bra. Both guys did a great job. Marco comes to you place to do the job, convenient eh?
If you want to check him out,
Marco

The problem with a good clear bra install is it doesn't show up in pics. I always bug Marco about that!

As I recall Wayne, he charged me about 5 bills two years ago for the G. Full bumper wrap, deep hood ( maybe 30% ), fenders ( just past the lights ) and both side mirrors. Don't know what he'd charge these days. Here's his quote for the V;
Hood, Fender & Mirror(Extended 24") - $295 Installed
Front Bumper & Grill - $265 Installed
Headlights - $85 Installed
I went with the deeper hood, 24" instead of 12" coverage for the extra $50.
He told me about a car, I forget which kind, that he's doing a full wrap on. It's some special wrap with automotive paint in it. The guy is changing the colour of the car from black to white. Cheeper than a paint job and when he gets tired of white he can go back to black. Amazing eh? I thought once you had black ........
You worked yours in as part of the deal, no?

That's Jamie, the car is a 997 911 Turbo Cab, it's black and he wants it pearl white - the vinyl isn't white, it's painted pearl white - so pretty coo. You basically treat it like normal paint, since it's painted right on the vinyl. I can't wait to see him do it.

Thanks for filling in the details Kevin. I thought was Pearl White but wasn't sure. Hope he takes and posts some pics.

Sounds like a good deal Sam and if he meets your's and Kevin's approval he must do a great job.

No, I did not work it on the deal with my new FX. I went to the Detailing Shop in Newmarket (by Vic Simones). The owner Sean did the full bumper wrap, 2 feet up the hood and matched the front fenders with the hood and did the mirrors and also the back ledge by the liftgate. It cost me $560 and it was the Venture Shield, he would do it in 3M for a cheaper price. I was very happy with his work.

That sounds like a great deal Wayne. A bra saves the front end from so much crap on the hwy. I wouldn't go without it on any car I buy ( new ).

Generally speaking, yes. VS tends to be thicker.

They advertise it as being better, the main thing I have noticed is the VS is smoother than the 3M, the 3M has a pebbly finish. I had 3M on my last two sedans and they stood up well, but I switched to the VS on my FX because I liked the smoother finish.
