Am I crazy for going lower in Calgary?

Well, a great deal just came up on some Eibach Sportlines which should drop me another 1/2" to 1" from my z suspension I'm on right now. Now, I will on occasion have to drive my car in the Calgary winter although I do have a another company vehicle I'll be driving most of the time and if the weather is really terrible. Is this kind of drop a little much for a semi year round vehicle? Does anyone else have any experience driving this low in the snow?
Thanks!

But it would look so good! Now I wish I had kept my sport struts, mounted those with my Z coils for winter and mounted my Z struts with Sportline coils for Spring and summer for easy swapping in and out. The rears are easy to swap regardless.

my car is on the eibach prokit and is nearly tucking in the back (they settled a lot more than I thought they would)...

Red Deer roads arent too bad, but neither are Calgarys. I hate taking my car up to Edmonton because the roads there are garbage. All that said my car is parked over winter time. I say go for it, if you have to drive in winter just have a good set of winter tires.

LOL, I did a poor mans drop on an old 78 Audi fox by cutting off a couple coils and as I had one compressed to loosen the upper mount, they slipped off and the coil went booooinnnnggg across the garage... Lets say I learned my lesson the hard way and luckily I wasnt hurt. I'm gonna say we'll be done Bo's in less than 3 hours and cheers'ing beers by 9.

Well guys, I said **** it and ordered them. Guess I can always take em out and put my Z back in, and for $50.00 plus shipping for 5000 miles springs I couldn't pass them up. Although this year regardless I'm DEFINETLY running dedicated winters as last year I ran Pirelli Snowsports and they were absolute ****e. What do you guys run?

BS Blizzak WS60s, they are pretty good. I actually think the GoodYear Ultra Grip Ice skins I had on my last car were better (it was also FWD) and I've heard good things about the Hakkas.

I used to run the crappy tire brand (nordic I believe) winters on my cavalier back ni teh day... gotta say they were actually pretty good and I got 16" tires for $500 installed... hard to beat a deal like that when you're a broke *** student.

all that said, I would not run those on a G.
