Skyline gt-r r34

So I was bored at work today and decided to test my googling skills and look what I came across.

http://www.weissach.com/auto-details.asp?autoID=847

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Nissan-GT-R_W0QQitemZ170371268434QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item27aaeb3f52&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
If only I can afford it.

You can't legally plate a GTR in canada that isn't 15 years old or older... but it's a nice pipe dream.....

That's what I've heard but I'm not too sure anymore. I'm assuming since the white gt-r was registered, passed safety, emissions, and inspections by the MTO doesn't that mean it's a legitimate canadian vehicle?

A while back I called RIV Canada and talked to them about GTR's that were certified by that california company that get's them all into the US. I was told flat out that although I could buy one and bring it into canada the only thing I could do with it was use it as a show car or at race tracks. It would never be allowed to be driven on the street or insured or plated. I highly doubt that has changed but.....meh?

179 grand for an R34? Sign me up... not.

You can get a new G and new GTR for that kind of money.

The story I heard - likely false - but if you bring the car into canada in pieces and assemble it yourself and it passes regulations it can be legally driven on the road

I agree with you 179 grand for an r34 is riduclously priced. Give it a few more years and the price will drop significantly.

t7n7 - what time was this?? the man thinks he is invincible.

I've heard that too. They're known "kit cars". From what I understand it's a work around the law, but I'm not sure how credible this information is.

Did they take all the cars off the road?
