Help!! Brake lights not working....

Now its not the G with the problem its my Pathfinder, my wife whent out today, I was outside and while she stopped at the end of the driveway I noticed only the middle light was on, when she got back I whent outside to check it out and sure enough the tail lights dont come on when braking, I turned on the lights and they come on but still don't light up brighter when I press the brake peddel.
My only guess would be the relay under the hood or could it be something else? If someone can give me some help that would be great.

Have you popped the bulbs out to see if the filaments are shot?

I know it's crazy but when I drove the cadillac both my tails popped at the same time... not sure how that happened.

never tried that yet Blaine but i will. I might have figured out the problem it could be the brake stop switch, its located near the brake peddal and its a little switch that clicks the brake lights on when you press the peddal.

Figured it out.......it was the bulbs all along hmm what are the odds of both going out at the same time.

Well so far the odds are good.

1. Your Pathfinder
2. My Caddie
3. Aaron's truck

3/3 of the brake lights i can recall going out in the last little while! Damn bulbs!

It doesn't surprise me, considering they see the same loads at the same time.
+ you may not have noticed one of them for a few weeks.

.....glad to hear that it was a simple fix
