Okay, okay, don't ban me, here's the setup, including laminate resonance transducer One thing I have to point out for Coach's benefit: the cable terminal evidently does NOT have PVR storage on board and so to get the 1TB of storage, one must use the hard drive (pictured top right). So Craig, you may emerge from the fetal position and I promise to stop exaggerating my technical endowments. However, I will be having a talk with the salesman at the e-store so you may hear of him on the news -- he'll be the one with the cable box sticking out of his ****.

Actually I'm going to overhaul the existing cabinet to make room for the new set. There's actually a 36" Sony Wega behind the panel, but as you can see by how much it overlaps the cabinet doors/drawers the new unit is a fair bit too large for the current opening.

Here's a shot of the Wega, which I will practically GIVE away if someone will come and cart its 235lbs up the stairs and out of my house!!

I knew it! ...ermmm - I mean... that's too bad, Wayne.

Don't worry, though - lots of men lead perfectly normal lives with only 1TB.

... or 1.16TB, like moi.

... that's more than 1TB.

... I'm just sayin'.

On a slightly more humble note, I've had my system for months now and my console still isn't much more elaborate than your "transducer". We just can't find the right console that will accomodate my 7"x22" center channel speaker along with all the other shiny bits. I may have to go with a low console with the CC speaker on top of it and wall mount the TV, or maybe hang the CC speaker on a shelf above the TV.

^ Well, if you get one of those you may as well buy the rest of the latest hi tech package that goes with it. You rock one of these bad boys and you'll be the envy of the entire neighbourhood.

Since my bro-in-law was down today, he and I muscled up and moved the Sony Behemoth out of the wall unit and into the rather small exercise room -- by lifting it onto my kids' wagon (it's very sturdy) and rolling out and down the hall. Since I can't seem to give the sumbeech away, we'll put it to some use.

Now not only can I mod the wall unit to fit the new panel, but now Mrs. Swivel can get a tan in front of the Sony while doing yoga.
