I'll be at the game too, hopefully the weather isn't too bad. Go ticats

Huh. Happens on mine every time. Could be that I go out of my way to drive in the loose stuff rather than in the tracks.

Lots of build up in the front wheel wells, but nothing with regards to the drive train. I do my best to have as much "fun" in the snow as I can.....

Well, I did the deed yesterday. I took off my summer rims. I don't have a garage so I have to do this stuff before things freeze up outside.
It took two months to get my new 20" Enkeis so I had to put them on for a couple of weeks and run them for the Fall Cruise. I put just over 2,000 kms on them in a couple weeks and loved them.
I put my OEM 18s with all seasons back on and still have to get my new Blizzaks for them.
Cleaning up my Enkeis before I wax them and put them away.

The FX with her winter rims on (after 3 coats of Wheelwax on them for protection)

I'm lovin these Enkeis, I hated to take them off. Had to post pics of them to share.

Question...

Do you find your rwd G is actually ok in the winter with snows on? I havent had a winter in the G yet and came from subarus and awd vws so its never been an issue. I'm about to buy winters, but was thinking I might as well just put the money into a beater for days when i can't drive my truck (wifes uses it for a couple days a week).

I'm talking Calgary/Edmonton winter weather, not those fake Vancouver and Toronto Winters.

Any insight appreciated.

Those really are a sweet setup for your FX Wayne,
it must have been tough to take them off after such a short time.

RWD with good winters is quite manageable in winter, you just have to be aware and think ahead.

For sure, I think I see a few water spots on those Enkeis from the tears, LOL!

Wayne , I think I did shed a couple tears since I had to take them off after only a couple of weeks.

I plan on installing my winter setup this weekend. Hopefully the white stuff won't come for quite some time yet, but gotta be prepared for it just in case.
