Stereo Install Pics

Hey Guys,

Just thought I would post the pics of my stereo install. About 2 months ago I experienced the dreaded issue with the centre console and climate controls not being responsive. I was originally thinking of only changing to the JDM double din kit with the A/C controls and a new double din headunit. I ended up with a stero overhaul One major constraint was that I retain as much trunk space as possible and I already had a sub from my previous setup.

NumberOne Sound (952 College St.) at College and Davenport did all the work. Great bunch of guys who really know their stuff and will go the extra mile to make things right. If you are looking for any sound system advice give George a call (416) 532-6134 and he'll take the time to go over your options for you within your budget.

Let me know if you have any questions or what you think.

The beginning;

Focal components and brownbag in the doors:

Passenger Side:

Focal 2-way speakers in the rear-quarter panels:

Brownbag on the rear deck and trunk lid:

Amp/Cap/Crossovers in Trunk:

New double din Clarion head unit with dual zone climate controls on JDM AC controller:

If I can ever save money I'd like to get a double din deck like that.

Sounds waaaay better then the stock Bose even without the 6x9's on the rear deck that I didn't put back. Like night and day

Surprisingly enough the deck did not cost all that much, was around $600 it was one of Clarion's last year models.

Think the weight that was added was negligable, car feels the same before and after the install.
