2008 G35XS 14,500km, all options except 4 wheel steering. I paid $52,700 last year. The car is in flawless condition except a few rock chips on the front bumper. The paint was almost always sealed in something for protection and leather conditioner & scotch guard was used regularly for the inside.

What would be a fair price?

Unfortunately you're in that early, big hit area with your depreciation.
I would check the usual places like Autotrader to get a feel, keeping in mind that listings are 'asking' prices.

 

the fair price is what your local retail market will bear. like above said, check your local advertising resources. that's the best way.

off topic, but i sold a car to my younger sister years ago and every time something went wrong with it or wore out i was accused of past abuse of the car. i thought it was hillarious and never gave her a cent even though she tried to guilt me. but this was the last time i sold a car to a relative. it's not worth the hassle. i'm not saying that will happen to the OP, but that was my experience.

 

Damn, I remember you from the meet. You're selling the car already? I would try and sell it for around $40,000.

 

Yeah I decided the G was too grown up for me and that I want something less luxurious and more agile so I am jumping into an 08 EVO (can't wait to start modding for some serious speed). The G is a great car, just not for me at this point in my life.

Considering the asking prices for something like my car are 40-42k we will probably settle on around 38k. Sound fair?
