strikeforce on cbs

anyone watched the fight tonight. it was one of the best events for strikeforce in terms of the fight card and really exciting fights.

fedor's knock out punch was incredible, brett rogers being crybaby about the loss was disrespectful.

mousasi again amazes me with his calmness and striking power.

idiot jasom mayhem miller again loses a fight because he is being lazy as usual during a fight.

fabricio werdum can take punches and strikes.

Hard to tell with the camera angles but my first thought was that it was stopped too soon. Rogers got popped pretty good but he was covering up and 'intelligently defending himself' when it was stopped. Big John IMO is one of the better refs out there, so I have to believe that he saw the eyes roll back into Rogers head or something to that effect and needed to stop it.

when he got the initial punch and fell on to floor look at his eyes, he was well gone, besides he just rolled over and cover his head without even looking at the opponent, i dont think that is inteligently defending.

he didnt even mention that even after game interview meaning he knew he was gone..

but still props to brett he did give some damage to fedor and last more than i expected.

I don't think he was defending himself. All I saw was he put his arm over his head. He was out, even if only for a second or two. I thought Fedor was going to lose, Rogers looked really good in the fight, looks like he broke Fedor's nose, but once again Fedor pulled one out of his hat and got the win. It was a good fight. would love to see a rematch of that in the future.

haha actualy jason if he stops being lazy once in a while, he could have won that fight.jake shields is overrated and his performance was pretty lame.

actually regarding fedor's cut, that cut was there if you see him b4 the fight he had this cut thanks to his little brother aleksandre, while they were sparring in the training. now they dont let him to spar with fedor anymore. so brett's accurate punch actually re-open that gap again.but again nice straight jab.

brett could only have won this fight with puncher's luck, but fedor has been hit by people who hit harder than rogers b4.
again u have to have ***** to face fedor, brett did have it, tried his chances and inevitable happened

im glad sokodjou lost, he faked ball shot to recover from mousasi's hits, beside he usually is an ahole when he is winning (continue hitting till ref stops even he sees the opponent is out)

Fedor is a monster, no matter what situation he is in, he never looks fazed or worried, I mean he has gotten suplexed on his neck and still ends up with a win. Can't wait till Brock Vs Fedor. Anyone have any ideas when this will happen? I know Dana and Fedor were having contractual issues last year with the Sambo tournament or something.

what happened was Dana end up saying ok for sambo fights, let him wear M1 logo, however the M1 guys said "we want to be co-promoter of the events", so it would be something like

"ufc 110 presented with co-promotion of M1 Global"

so these guys basically want to get into what UFC has created so far in mma world and be co-promoter with only having fedor.

i really think fedor is a big asset but look at the business wise, u work ur butt off to make ufc from bum fights to professional world wide known organization, now these guys just because they have fedor wants to split the profits half, without putting any money on table only fedor.

dont get me wrong i hate dana and zuffa guys, but the things m1(which fedor is 50 percent owner) is asking too much. ufc will never accept something like that.

so i dont see this happening anytime soon

sigh so much politics.... I would expect M1 global be the loser in trying to hold out, UFC continues to have a group of competitors...... M1 will be scarmbling eventually for decent fighters i expect
