Collision Estimator at CARSTAR (Franchise Bodyshop). My job mainly consists of me appraising damage from insurance claims. I mainly deal with companies such as MONNEX, DEJARDINS, INTACT, AVIVA, STATE FARM, DOMINION ETC. If you put in an insurance claim and want your car repaired at a prefered shop (with most insurance companies) give me a shout (in the north york area im at keele and finch). Lastly, I have a certificate in automotive fixed operations and a random BA sociology degree from Waterloo!

BTW feel free to reach me at work 416 633 5652 CARSTAR Downsview --> Derek

Tool and die maker, I still make parts for people, if you have a drawing i can probably make it. Sorry no CNC stuff. I also have a line on aftermarket parts. I can't always save you money but I can check out prices via the web if you pm me.

I do minor work on cars, spacer installs for g35 and maximas, I'll do brake jobs, spark plug changes. Motor mount swap on maximas was popular this year. And auto tranny coolers as well.

Here's a few pics of custom work I have done.

Not too many aftermarket choices for maxima gauge pods, so I came up with this

installed

This is going on the car next year

Been vacant on here for the last month so I figured now is as good a time as any to jump back into things.. Im originally and electrician and got into controls and automation and now work for Siemens here in calgary as a commercial automation tech. I write C++ based sequences for our automation as well as ladder logic for PLC's. I'm also good with home theatre/automation and everything done to my car I'm proud to say i have wrenched myself. Was even involved in the painting of my roof this last summer which I'd been wanting to learn for awhile. Cant wait for next year to see the new mods everyone's got!

Hey all, Based out of calgary as you can see. I have a broad range of skills and if you book I'm generally available.

I'm an IT professional by trade and by choice. Anything from building PC's from scratch. To configuring Networks and wan's. Servers whatever. As long as it's not a MAC or have anything to do with an IPOD or ITUNES i'm game.

I also have gotten pretty good with the Porter cable and Detailing. I'm not for hire but I'll help you. My equipment is also available for Borrow. But if you want my polishes I might need a couple bucks for that stuff.

I use to be a Car stereo installer so anything having to do with car stereo's I can do. I've installed a full turbo kit minus the wiring and vaccum lines in my old honda so I do know my way around a car.

I think That'll do.

BA in Information Systems and Communications @ york.
did a bit of software engineering but got too bored... so dropped out.

Technology Specialist, I have several job duties... managing our in house phone system with oc9 lines, supporting our website asp.net applications, flash actionscript/java, hardware/software issues for our 3 locations. monitoring and updating SQL Databases, maintaining our exchange servers and raid solutions. during my free time at work, i'm implementing hardware/software solutions such as systems that will automatically parse client info and setup databases which will then be used for mailings and other forms of communication (Voip, ubisense). other experience: perl, c++, vb and java / unix

I also have a strong background in webdesign, 3d animation and actionscript. job 2. wiring cars and making custom pcbs for custom projects. anything and everything to do with internal electronics and wiring for a car. i have very little experience with engines.

Basically, if you need custom electronics made for your car, give me a shout. I can help out with pretty much anything to do with computers/webdesign/graphics. I have NEGATIVE TIME , so getting me to actually do something is a totally different story :P

and oh ya.. at home, i'm programming my custom multitouch table + software and Im' a dealer for the variable tints.
