Geez, Wayne. Sorry to hear about your new baby getting defiled.

Make sure you disinfect the contact area so the FX doesn't catch Ford "cooties".

Wayne,

That's so sad to see. It really hurts that its a brand new vehicle.
K and yourself are alright, that's what matters most.

Thank you guys, I was thoroughly pi$$ed off, but my wife was proud of me because I never swore at the guy or got violent

I tried to take pics when I got home but it was getting dark and the car was very dirty to get a good pic of the damage.

Here is one of worst dents, there are a couple more down lower.

I know how you feel. My Coupe got keyed about 3 weeks after I got it. The rear quarter had to be sanded and blended. About 2 years ago the front bumper was replaced etc from a driver making a left turn oblivious to other traffic.

The X has had that same fender as yours painted due to significant paint damage from a bird dropping. It was blended into the hood. You cannot tell.

Hope your repair is as successful.

LOL at the defiled and cooties.

That just sucks. I am glad you guys are alright though.
I don't know if I could remain that calm if someone hit me. Good for you Wayne!

Counting to ten wouldn't help much either.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Coach the first thing I did was wash the damaged fender, as you said I do not want to get cooties from the Ford.

I just returned from the body shop, it's a very good shop, I have had work done by them before. I walked through their shop and it is uber clean and up to date equipment. I checked out a BMW they were working on and it looked great.

They will replace the front fender and also the fender wheel opening moulding.
The side door will be blended in with the new fender (all OEM parts).
Alignment will be done.
New Venture shield clear bra (it protected the side of the front bumper, just the clear bra got scuffed).
Corrosion protection of inner fender.
Total cost: $2116.98 Can

Now I have to see if the culprit still wants to pay or go through his insurance.

I took a few more pics.

ouch wayne...
i gotta say though, ~$2000 is actually less than I expected for that (with complete replacement). That hurts, especially knowing you really take care of your rides (I knew that ever since I heard you claybar your wheels)

I'm happy it wasn't worse and good luck with dealing with guy!

Hurts to see that damage, but it sounds like one way or another she'll soon be good as new.

Yeah I agree it hurts to see those pics.

Good to see you're on top of it and have a good shop. Hopefully the rest of the process with insurance or the culprit goes as well.
