Doner Infiniti in Newmarket

I'm taking the car in for a "used car" inspection. Has anyone dealt with this dealership before and have had good/bad experience with them?

thx!

Not to sound too cynical, but won't they just tell you it needs a whole bunch of work and that they can do it for $19,284,789.37? I would look for an independent shop...are you anywhere close to Simone Performance?

Local guys, do they do inspection work?

I believe InTgr8r has dealt with Doner, he might be able to help you out there.

Swivelhips also had a good suggestion, Simone Performance are very knowledgable with Infinitis and many guys go there. They are on Mulock just a few blocks from Doner. http://www.simoneperformance.com/

Vic is 5 minutes away from Doner. Personally I would take it to Vic.

I have had good dealings with Doner during warranty (very minor)

I have used Simone several times before and would highly recommend them!
Vic is a Nissan tech, so he knows his stuff.

He knows us here very well.
Just tell him the guys at G35Driver sent you.

I recommend Simone as well, Vic knows Nissans inside and out.

I have been to Doner infiniti but I have never dealt with them, never heard anything bad though!

new car warranty is 4 years 100,000km

power train i think is 6 years 110,000km

powertrain would be the only thing left. unless your car was sold in December in 2005

Thanks for all your input!!

Taking the car to Vic on Wednesday. Will get him to check everything, do an oil change and check out my spoiler light (not working)..

I also asked him about Winter tires. So far he's quoting me $2k for a set of 17" Toyos staggered with alloys.

I found a place called 2nd Time Around. They quoted me a great deal. They have both used and new packages. Anyone here used them before? The only problem is they're very busy so it's taking so long to book an appointment or have the guy call me back. They're on Finch and Keele area.

Any insight on this place is appreciated.

Not to put a kink in Vic's business, but if it were me, before dropping 2 grand I'd check the Marketplace here on Driver as well as Kijiji for some used 17" or 18" coupe wheels, then buy some winters to put on them.

Or buy these:

^ +1 there are lots of winter tire deals available better than 2K.
Wheels & Tires are not really Vic's forté
