Einstein on the 401

Drove into TO today. Requisite number of poor drivers on the 401. On the way back a van was doing 115 in the left lane and there were at least 15 backed up. I was right behind him, a few car lengths away for a while and was being sniffed by civic who wanted to push me through the van. I gave the guy a little flash to wake him up and he starts to pump the breaks and slows down. Then he pulls over into a hole. I move forward, pass him and he swerves back into the left lane, cutting off the honda and turns his high beams on me to teach me a lesson. Well, there was no one in front of me so ........... What a moron.

lol gotta love driving on the 401 (I try to stay away)

what grinds my gears are BMW drivers that don't know how to drive when it snows, they are all over the place, they should make selling BMW x-drive mandatory for novice drivers

IDK what it is with some 401 drivers Sam.
Some of them just HAVE to be in that left lane.

I had one a while back that entered the hwy and blindly proceeded left across all three lanes, cutting everyone off in the process.
That driver had an angle on his shoulder that day.

Christ. You gotta come drive on a southern alberta highway. Everytime i'm in Toronto i'm ear to ear smiles with the hwy drivers. I would honestly guess, that 5-10% of the population are familiar with "Keep right except to pass" or any "fast lane" courtesies.

I guess they're everywhere though.

No one is taught rules of the road anymore. There should be requirements to go to school. Some don't know. Some don't care. But honestly, very few are taught how to drive responsibly anymore.

Hopefully, there are enough angels to go around Ian, for the good the bad and the ugly.
