I have a question about pairs ice skating. I mean really, it seems most male ice skaters are gay. Seems like ice skating with a female is almost hyprocritical.

I don't get that feeling when female skaters are being interviewed (that is if there is a typical lesbo female sound).

I mean it's seriously a Blades of Steel type of thing.

^ Yes the Pairs skating is done now. There was also the pairs free skate which, if I recall correctly, has less compulsory moves than the pairs dance. It's been a long time since it was explained to me and even back then all I heard was blah, blah, blah while thinking...is she gonna take her top of for me this time or not. Ah yes..17 and in love.

I know why Tessa Virtue is so easy for Scott Moir to lift.

A number of them, male and female, are married (either to their partners or someone else) but there are also some brother/sister combos. I'm sure there's a higher-than-average percentage of the males that are gay, though.

I think they were saying that as early as last night. I would expect then, that he will go the rest of the way, unless he is terrible against Germany tonight (in which case it may or may not matter). If they wanted to build up Brodeur's confidence, I would expect them to play him tonight. If Lu plays well tonight, how do they NOT go with him in the next round, and if he wins again in the semi(?), how could they justify switching to Marty for the final? And if he doesn't...well...doesn't matter. I think Marty's Olympics may be done.

Just curious what other people's thoughts are on this. I've been watching the Olympics religiously since the beginning and over the last week I've seen a number of Canadian coaches coaching athletes from other Countries. What is everyone's thoughts on that? Personally, if I was a Coach, I do not think I could Coach an international athlete to compete against my own Country. Thoughts?

i agree I also hear them talk about lots of athletes that train in Canada all of the time ie: Apallo Ohno, Shani Davis also i knew one of the guys on the German hockey team tonight he is from Beaverlodge Alta i used to party with him. I guess if I had a chance to go to the olyimpics i would go to even if it was for another country but i would feel durrty about it like the durrty you feel after a hooker leaves your hotel room.
