Awesome day. Looking forward to watching some stuff tonight.

Only got to see half the third period so it sounds like that was the best time to watch!

actually the other american to medal in the downhill, julia mancuso, is also niiiiice.

vonn is 5'10", 165lbs. a bit much for my tastes, but still hot nonetheless.

There are a lot of great looking women from Canada as well. Jenn Heill, Maelle Ricker, Marianne St. Gelais, Melissa Hollingsworth, Kaillie Humphries, Heather Moyse........just to name a few. The women's freestyle skiing team is pretty nice as well. Haven't too many many lookers from Europe yet.

Anyways, back to the actual Olympics. It was nice seeing another medal last night and congrats to St. Gelais for getting silver in the women's 500m. Did anyone catch Shaun White's snowboard runs last night? Man, that guy is incredible!

We watched. My snowboarder son (12) almost lost his mind when White landed that Double-Mac-Whats-Its-Twisty-Name, on his final leap.
I have only watched that sport a couple of times in my life and it was still easy to tell the difference between White and the uh..mmm...competition.

^ Yeah, it's easy to tell he is well above the rest of the field. This is the only video I could find, it's his first run.

I saw Whites performance, unreal to say the least I guess he is the highest paid athalete at the games (outside of hockey players of coarse). Also Shani (i can't recall his last name) looked amazing in the speed skating. One thing I have noticed alot of athaletes from the US speed skating and sking all train in Canada and of course the mens mogul skiier that got a silver was a Canadian that moved to another country for better funding .

malheureusement, you are correct. hopefully it doesn't stay that way. anything less than a top 3 medal count finish (combined with hockey gold) will be a huge disapointment, especially with all the "own the podium" funding thrown at the athletes. there's still lots of time to make up some ground. USA is out of touch, but maybe we could catch Germany...certainly France at the very least.

Yesterday I watched Jennifer Hedger interview Kelly Vanderbeek. I still have NO idea what either of them said.
