I'm giving the V12s a shot myself.
It ranked #2 in the C&D testing article.

When were these tires first released for consumer purchase?

I am pretty sure the Ventus are the tires I put on my coupe when I sold it in August... As I recall they were a decent tire, although I found they deff didnt perform as well as the T1Rs they replaced.

are you running these now (or are you guys still in winter mode)? If so, interested in your impressions. As a reference, it's helpful if you could list the former tires you have used as well.

Not sure which of those are better, but I can say please stay away from Avon's. They are garbage and create more road noise than most trucks.

still wishful thinking at this point.
It's usually mid April when the summers come out to play.

Had PS2s in the past & love them, they're just to much $$$.
I had Sumitomo HTR ZIII on the DPEs & liked them.
With the DPEs up FS, I was looking for the same thing for the new wheels.
No luck with HTR ZIII in 19" sizes though.

V12s seemed like the best bang for the buck choice at the moment.

I had the Falken 452s I wouldn't buy them again the sidewall separated They traction wasn't that good compaired to Toyo TR1s i had before. Nitto 555 also seem decent for a good price i had a set of them. I run Nitto Invos now but its too early to tell much they did a decent job of putting down 620ft/lbs of torque the few days i drove the car at full boost

It appears that the FK's have a higher treadwear rating. I'm curious how long the V12's will last. Hopefully longer then the PS2's....

i have the V12s in 245 35 19 and 265 30 in rear. like them so far; quiet, good traction. had potenza's before but they were a bit noisy.
