I agree Wes, I figured my trunk would have been good for a few more years yet. It did have a lot of stop and go driving around town since 1997 and that is much harder on it than a lot of highway miles.
My mechanic friend that I sold it to will have it back on the road, and he should enjoy her for a few more years yet.

Okay, as I said earlier I got the 08 GMC Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab and it's pretty well loaded.

The changes I have had done to it so far are
-Vent Visors installed on all 4 doors
-OEM molded Splashguards
-Bug deflector ordered
-Garmin Nuvi 1490T GPS/Bluetooth ordered
-Tonneau Cover ordered for the back (should be in tomoorow)
-trying to locate some 20" Machined Alloy wheels with 275/55/20 tires (I have a guy looking for me right now)

Here are a few pics

Today I couldn't wait any longer and I put my 20 summers on my FX also.

Pretty truck. No doubt that will serve you well for quite a while.

No doubt it's got a little more jump than the last one too.

Thanks guys.

My old girl was getting a bit tired when towing my boat. This one has the 5.3 Flex-fuel V8 and seems fairly spunky yet it is much better on gas.

Thanks Tauseef.

How have you been? You should come out to one of our meets or cruises posted in the Sticky section. It would be good to see you.
