Yeah, it was me.
The two halves are welded AND have rivets.

A couple of guys have done it with a set of doner lights from a wreck.
Basically they destroy the lens on one set; and destroy the backs on another.
Do the mods & make a set of lights from the two good halves.

BUT...
There is one guy in Cali that has figured out how do split them w/o destroying them.
Mine are on the way back home now.

That's all I got right now with the black lights.....I'll take one tomorrow more of the headlight itself, when it's not overcast out.

Ian, I remember that now. I wonder how he does it. A lot of new GMs are using a plastic weld to seal them.

If you don't mind me asking (pm if you'd like) what did he charge you for the work?

Looks good matt

Angel eyes would look killer on the G, i remember when i first search the angel eyes threads, people usually get the looks right, but always had a problem with leakage or other stuff. i wish this would be better version, cause im hella interested in a group buy

Yeah not bad, but shipping is a PITA.

I'll take some detail closups when I get them back, maybe you can figure out how he did it.
There's probably a few GTA Z4 guys that would like to have a local guy do them.

I have angel eyes, and I got my headlights blacked out as well, no leakage or anything. (see my garage for pics) They weren't done by Blaine but from the pics Blaine does excellent work as well.

Definitely changes the look of the car that's for sure.
