^ these events are good fun. i did that in '08 just outside of Vancity with a buddy who had a 350Z. it's great to see what the car will do, and also provides good experience for the driver.

a funny sidebar: a local Ford dealer brought 2 brand new mustang GT500's out, swapped out the OEM tires for drag radials, then let fly all night long. i wonder if the eventual owners know this! that really enforced my belief that "demo" vehicles are not worth the slight discount.

 

this is a good idea infact you beet me to it, I was going to post this up a couple of days ago but never got the chance. A bunch of us in Cambridge want to go one fri we should try to organize a date and all head up there.
