So I was recently laid off from my company of nearly 6 years. The company that moved me to Calgary. At this time I'm looking around in the market and it does look promising for a IT professional such as myself.

However probably the worst thing about it all was that they took my blackberry.... I have become hopelessly attached to that little gem and therefore I ask this simple question to my Canadian friends. Does anyone have a blackberry storm 2 for bell or unlocked they would sell a neighbor? Please keep in mind my budget is shot until I get back in the game.

Also, I know many of my Calgary brethren are IT folks, does anyone have a line on a job? I am willing to work anywhere in north america on contract but for any permanent positions I would prefer to be in Calgary. Nothing is out of the question. Overseas would be cool too I suppose.

Anyway... I'm running out of internet and sleeping too much. I NEED WORK!

I am an IT person myself, SQL DBA, quite junior as i only have 3 years experience ... but last i check Calgary had a lot of posting up on monster!

i would love to move to cowtown, but i am still completing my degree here so its kinda out of question... Edmonton job market for IT is kinda f'ed up right now ... but I will keep a look out ... what area is your proficiency?

Storm 3 will be out soon, so I'm hoping to get my hands on a storm 2 on the cheap. I like the storm.... Not an Iphone or mac anything fan. I can't stand that I have to use ITUNES for my touch (that I won, not bought for the record)... no wireless sync. proprietary plugs are gay....

Anyway Rant over. I like the storm 2 or I suppose the storm 1. I just need my crackberry fix!
