Anyone shipped parcels to Sweetgrass Montana for pickup?

Just wondering if anyone has used www.attheborderstorage.com in Sweetgrass just over the border into Montana to receive packages. I have some large items to order and it's considerably cheaper for me to ship them there and drive down to pick them up. Anyone done this?

I have. The guy is awesome. Crossing the boarder and coming back is not. The last time I went I took my MOM just so I wouldn't get searched again. It worked. But think of it this way, it's like gambling. Sometimes you get bent over by customs. Sometimes they let you through without bending you over. (it's the Canada side that gives one the most grief).

Thanks for the info, I figured you would chime in about this. But really, as long as there's nothing to hide, you SHOULD only have to worry about paying duty on the item purchased...correct?

Now I'm curious about what you are getting and how things work out in Sweetgrass.

In collage I had a female "friend" that lived just on this side of the boarder and had a mail box on the US side she knew all of the crossing guards so they just let her through no grief ever. I wish i wasn't such an a$$hole I would be getting duty free goods for all of us .

I must even look like an a$$hole I get searched at the boarder ALWAYS. Yet i have never done anything wrong (that anyone can prove) no criminal record nothing they still bust my ***** every time.

Theoretically all one should have to worry about is duty, yes.

No, usually they wave the duty, but you pay taxes.
In Ontario we get raped for GST & PST (soon to be HST)
I guess you would just pay GST.

I do this all the time here.
I always have a bill of sale and never get hassled at all.

Yes sorry duty and or tax. My mind was slightly preoccupied this morning. Bill of sale or not, I usually get ding'd.

Haha, well, grille should be here any day which shall be promply sanded and painted black to match, well, everything else on the car. I'm STILL waiting on the "cannot pass up, smokenest deal of the year" for a particular bumper so nothing quite en route yet for that. I know, I know, it's been forever with this damn fix up but it will all be worthwhile in the end
