Canadian Classifieds
It was created not more then 2 weeks ago, when I search and put "can-on" my threads still dont show? At first before you took out the prefix it was fine......but not it doesnt even come up anymore
if I can search and find it, maybe you'll understand why I am confused when you say you can't find it using the search.
can you please walk me through your process, and include screenshots if at all possible.
I want to get this right, and don't want any confusion, so lets make sure we're all clear

So basically when I go to marketplace and use the search, Ill put in the state/province which is Can-On and it doesnt come up?
I understand its not hard to find but when people from ontario search whats for sale in ontario my threads dont come up.

Robb, good to see you are around.
You know who this is. You were at my house years ago with your Porsche and we also went out for dinner together in Barrie.

That was a very fun/fast drive when I came to your house

While I miss them at times, very glad to have those days far behind me
hey STCLAIRWEST, we are having some external issues with our search in the marketplace right now, and I am heading to a friends for a Canada Day BBQ. I will pick this up again tomorrow and hopefully then can figure it out, along with you.

Sounds like you have settled down a lot. Good for you

Now what about getting our Canadian section back.
Hey Wayne,
Great to re-connect with you here. I have settled down quite a bit since those days. I stil miss the Porsche though. I will definitely replace it with another someday. For now it's bicycles that get me going!
In terms of the Canadian section we had, I am not really sure that we can go 100% of the way back, although I believe we have 'all hands' working to see if we can.
However, as I suggested, perhaps the best way for now, would be to eliminate the Provincial options, and simply use Canada for all classifieds pertaining us. Then I can easily do something like we did to re-create the subforums for the other classifieds. We could potentially even do this for the entire Canadian section if everyone agrees we don't need a breakdown by Province.
What do you think?
cheers,

Robb, that would be a step in the right direction for sure.
Personally I used to check Canada Classifieds and the Canada forum every day, it was a ritual. It's no good going through search engines to check these out. It was nice to just have the ability to click on Canada-wheels or Canada -Accesssories or all new additions to Canada Classified.
Give us a shout if you are around the area sometime.

just to add clarification..if we reduce from the Provinces, to just the Country, all threads currently tied to Canadian provinces will have NO location tied to them anymore
Is this still an acceptable way to go?
