Im actually getting my rims refinished (painted and lip fixed) with Rim Repair King.

Just dropped them off today, I'll let you know how it goes. BTW i went to see Quy, who is a perfectionist, the reason I didnt go with him is that he doesnt work on wheels with polished lips because he doesnt polish...so hes worried that if he screws up and damages the lip, its his to cover.

How about some pics? Please?

Do you mind me asking what it cost you?

Did you go with Rim Repair King on price or workmanship? Where are they located?

^+1 costs would be nice.

Not GTA, but I just used a guy up in Erin to have some exhaust cans ceramic coated.
He also does powder.
He's probably not the cheapest but does great work.
These were $100/ea for ceramic.

...just picked these up from him last night.

I'll take pics when I get the rims on the car later today...

I had been recommended to Quys as he is a "powdercoating specialist". Precision rim repair is apaprently good but they are JERKS.

I needed my lip fixed and actually wanted the rims PAINTED in Black Hyper Silver and Quy doesnt "paint".

So i went online and found a few people and paid them a visit. Rim King does alot of mobile work for dealers all over the GTA and that made me feel a little more at ease. They are located in Etobicoke but I delt with him on a personal level, dropped the rims off at his house and he took care of them for me.

Customer service is great, they are very honest and pleasant to deal with.
Because I got my lip re finished (CandC) it cost em more but I think repainting 4 might be 90-100 a rim, which is what Quy charges as well.

Hope this helps.

I'd love to see this Black Hyper silver - is that the one that looks black at certain angles but others it appears to be a dark chrome?

You're setting the bar pretty high.
