Windshield cracked - &$^#

Just got in the car after work and there's a 18" crack coming from the top of the windshield. One small chip 1/2" from the edge. The window was fine this morning...

Is there some kind of trampling going on in Calgary that you all need new boots and hats??

Sucks on the Windshield, little chips are not bad but the big cracks .

Yeah, it's really crappy to see, but at least it veered of toward the center rather than into my field of vision. Must have picked up the rock this morning but I don't remember hearing anything.

It's our local cultural anachronism. One I usually avoid like the plague, however this year I feel like booting up. Save me from the C&W mooosic though.

Nah - the w/s can stay cracked as long as it isn't in my line-o-sight. $$ deferred.

I had AMI glass on it when new, but the first renewal statement was so nasty I let the policy lapse. They adamantly stated there would only be one renewal note and I thought 'screw them'... That was over two years ago...

Could be worse... you could have had a chunk of brake drum come through it on the highway.

You weren't cruising with Wayne, were you? I might have a line on a guy that does windshields on the side. He's a fire dog here in Calgary... Unless you have something else going on?

I haven't used him yet but I trust the guy who gave me the information. I have a couple windshields that need some love.
