Excellent. Same set up in mine.

If at all possible get the outlets down close to floor level versus ceiling. Makes for a lot more comfort in the winter.

Ha, me too.......especially when it's full of AK's finest. I also have a matching Alexander Keiths outdoor cooler/storage table as well. It's a great addition to the deck.

Shane it is looking great, and you are lucky that AK cooler/storage table wouldn't fit in my FX a few weeks ago

Coming along nicely Shane......When it's done, it'll be something to be proud of.

Hope I get a chance to see it in person sometime down the road.

Looks good. I had a dream I framed my basement last night, but went downstairs this morning and no such luck

Well looks like another busy G member, good job there Shane. I don't know about you but I was a proud man after finishing mine, its amazing what you can do when you don't wanna pay someone all that cash. I definitly don't miss the mess from all that mudding and sanding.
You just reminded me I haven't taken any pics of my bsaement furnished.

That part definitely bites. Sanding especially.

I finished my basement in a few seconds with one hand -- yep, wrote a cheque. That was a few years ago when I had lots of money and not much time. Kinda the opposite of now, LOL!

Looking great, Shane, and think of the feeling of satisfaction you'll have when it's finally done and you sit back, crack a Keith's and fire up your favourite flick on Blu-ray.

Looking great Shane. Are you putting in any crown moulding?

I had it put in a couple of years ago when the basement was redone. It looks great IMO.

Yep, crown molding will definitely be going in Bill. I have it throughout the house on the other two floors so I will keeping it going into the basement as well. I will be starting the flooring on Saturday......looking forward to getting that finished this weekend.

Yeah, I must admit there is a certain satisfaction when you do things yourself. And you are absolutely right, I will certainly enjoy cracking open a Keiths from the bar fridge when it's completely done.

The basement is one more step closer to being finished as I recently got the flooring done. I went with a 14mm laminate Cappachino Oak. Since I have a basement entrance that will be heavy utilized, I didn't want to go carpet due to the dirt and didn't want to go hardwood due to scratches. I am pleased with the choice and think it looks pretty good. Next up is baseboard trim, window trim, etc. After that will be the start of the bathroom.
