The crossmember thing is an oddity.
You would think it would be a consistent issue or not.
I've heard of some guys that had it and others not.

What's strange about this one is, it was not an issue installed on mine and your's needs an adjustment. ....weird.
A small spacer (washers) to lower the xmember a tad might do it for you.

Someone bring a cam corder to the Canmore meet yes, we can have a noise competition haha.

There are several pretty decent fast intentions vids on YouTube, you could just scrub one of those and use it as your own in the mean time ha.

I suspect there's enough play in the various flanges that I'll be able to loosen everything, jack it up and tighten when lifted. That should lift it enough. I'll clock the three-bolt flanges too, that should afford a small change at the hanger points.

But on the point of weird, why didn't they just make the pipes fit the X and they'd be fine on the sedan?

Yeah, I wondered that too.
It really doesn't make a of of sense to make 2 systems.
Although, they don't inventory systems; each is made to order.
