Picking my brain..

So I've been thinking of a stereo upgrade, just a sub an amp with stock components. I have an issue that I haven't really wrapped my head around. I'm wondering if I'm going to need a separate battery. I already have a 4 gauge running from my battery for my compressors for my air ride setup. Would I be able to run another 4 gauge off of my battery terminal or is this too much of a strain? All feedback is appreciated!

I suppose if you run the air sporadically and not at the same time as the amp, you'll be fine. I don't think you need a second battery and it's attendant isolation and charging requirements. I've never used a power cap on the battery, but hear they can help.

Do you think I can run 2 4 gauge wires off of the battery terminal, as in is there enough room?

not an audio savi, but in my previous car I had my alarm, amp and 2 12 inch subs. I used a Capacitor in parallel with the system to keep the voltage level stable.

I think I might need to get a cap. Seems to be the only real safe/realistic way to have everything running off of 1 source.
