Thumbs up Statikperformance LEDs for the win!

Just swapped out stock bulbs in corners, map light, trunk and step lights with package 4 from statik performance (with one extra pair of 168s). Took me 10 minutes and was totally painless.

Not cheap (100 even) but looks sharp.

Anyone else around mod their lights? Where did you get them?

I had a bunch of the Statik 6 LED boards for my interior lights in the G, they looked great.
I'm going to use one or two of them in the BMW.

Yeah I got all my LEDs from Statik and got rid of all that weak yellow/amber!
From 6LED boards to HALO wedge bulbs.
They are great quality, bright white, &sexy!

Thanks Henry!

LEDs for the reverse are a bad idea. They'll look better but I've read that they decrease visibility.

Does anyone bother to just order the LEDs themselves? Rather then spend $70.00 for $20.00 worth of LEDs?

I guess it's handy to have them all shipped as a set.. but really?

Frankly, I didn't mind paying a bit extra for the convenience- I knew I was going to put these things in and they were going to fit. I'd been doing some reading and a bunch of guys were talking about how certain bulbs didn't fit- some were too blueish... blah blah blah. This kit was exactly what I wanted so I didn't mind paying extra to save from having to fiddle faddle with them once they arrived. If I could pick them up at Canadian Tire... or locally- different story perhaps. But me being instant gratification and all that- an extra bit of cash was worth it.

Fair enough. I've purchased LEDs for my past 2 cars as well, so I have a bit of experience I guess. (I just use ebay sellers).

I changed mine out. I did my bumper, headlights, doors and interior. I am not saying where I got mine from as I am afraid that Eno will copy me.

LED's for the reverse light are only a problem when you buy the cheap stuff off ebay .
A well made japanese LED if far brighter than the regular led's you find.
I got tired of buying LED's and none of them will show you a Bulb for bulb comparison of light or give you a lumen rating of them , so how do you know ?
You never do until it gets to you and you realize you got scammed another $60 .
If anyone is in Mississauga for next week Thursdays Tim Horton's meet drop by and I'll show you the difference.
