I couldn't make Canmore after they bumped it to a whole different weekend. Still chafing about that. I'll be at work that weekend and the subsequent ones. End of September is a write-off.

I'll keep my eyes open or those other guys too!

A bit far north for me. I'm just arriving on the coast now. Already arranged my first maintenance with the Nissan dealership in Victoria. Guess what? Clicking axle? Warranty. They're doing it for me on Friday. So don't quote me because a lot can happen between now and then. Like "oh you're lowered- we won't cover it" you know how thy happens. I already asked about it and told them I'm slammed (haha) and he said it had nothing to do with that.

And I must admit- sea level for the win!

Guys in Victoria sound off!

Your gonna love the winter months. It doesn't get that cold but the sky is painted gray for it's entire duration.

At least you are likely to be the only modded LR coupe within 200 miles.

Yes, at LEAST 200 miles. Knowing my luck there'll be a guy in Tofino named Justin or Rustin or Pustin that is slapping his forehead going "Fahk... why does everyone want their car to look like mine!?"

Winter must have started... it's been gray all day. Not coincidentally, the car has been in the shop all day too

Well... about 4:00pm I got a call from the shop saying they just noticed I had aftermarket lugs and didn't have the adaptor for them. I said I could drive them over, except that they were here in Sidney- about 30 minutes away. He said that wouldn't really help because the shop closed in 45 minutes. The car was there since 9:30...

Okay, well- I got a couple other things dealt with. Some of the recalls, a brake system flush and a replacement on the in-cabin air filter (Wish I'd scored one of those at that meet earlier in the year)... and service is pretty good. I'll give it another shot when I get home again in 3 weeks

Oh yes, and then me being the skillfull driver that I undoubtedly am... pulled out of their relatively steep driveway and rubbed the bumper hard enough to squirt out my clearance marker on that side. Drove around with it clinging by the wire for about 15 clicks before someone pointed it out to me. No damage- just a bit embarassed! Thank god for the "Clearance light replacement DIY" lol.

Overall, Campus Nissan for a tie.

Eh there MX... glad to see you. I take it if he works on your G he's someone you trust. He do normal maintenance on it or does he help you with modding. I'm out in Sidney- where abouts are you located?

One is Simoes Automotive on Beta st

Other is Progressive Auto repair on Burnside ( here just around the corner from Simoes) http://www.progressivemotorsports.com/

Both handy to me cause i live 3 blocks away so i can leave my car on a sunday night and pick it up after work mondays...

I have a friend that has has a tt nissian 300, bmw m3, and now has a mercedes sl 55 comp amg...he lets progressive work on his cars....ive know this guys 30 years and he only trusts this one shop to work on his cars....so i thought...mmmmworks for him...works for me.....

i havent yet gottin into modding my car, but i would trust progressive to do the work should i go thatt route....

we are still new with our car so its cool to be able to chat with other owners...hope to talk with you again...heading out soon to friends and do the weeekly shopping chorse...cheers Tim
