Woot!! Road trip next weekend....
Don't suppose you'd trade in that boat.
You'd get a nice garage out of it!!

I'll post up more when I get it.
But here's a vid for a lift similar to the one I'm getting.
The main reason for this style is I didn't want to deal with posts for parking & door access.
This also gives a clear path around the car for detailing etc.

as a matter of fact, Karen and I are headed down to the boat in a few minutes, to get out for a couple of hours.
Ian that lift looks perfect for your needs
haha, I understand about the bigger one or that nice RF246.
Sounds like a great plan to get in some more water time while the season is getting short.

I'm going to run a couple of planks on each side to get clearance.
& ebay
Nice piece of kit, though it looks as though it'd be a challenge to work directly under it. Great for oil changes, detailing and wheel changeovers, though, and after all those are the things we do most frequently. I suppose you could get truly creative and lift the vehicle, block it, then roll the lift out to work on, say, the transmission or axle-forward exhaust.

^yeah that's the one thing that's not ideal.
That's the trade-off vs. a 2 post lift with the posts in the way for parking, working around, etc.
+ the 2 poster requires base support work to install.
& This one I can always take with me if we decide to downsize one day.
