check back often. low confidence in road openings means just that. rogers pass and east of Golden are notorious. i know because i built part of the new Hwy 1 east of Golden. it's better now, but phase 3 has not started - and that's the worst part.

You could take the Crowsnest.

Might have to, but the plan had been to come back that way in the new whip...

Sh!ttastic. The banff to golden stretch is REALLY getting effed in the a, now that winters coming and the obstruction crews are attempting to make up for lost time. The rest is ho hum. A slow down here and there but nothing major is coming to mind. Make sure you open it up in the snowshed tunnels. Pretty sure I made more than one passing motorist **** themselves from the vq glory.

All of the obstruction aside, you can still make decent time if you put your foot in it when it counts.

LOL. Blasted through the tunnels all right, but with the OE intake and exhaust the only thing I did was surprise the tachometer by bouncing it off the pin.

Funny how they have 20kms of 4 lane road all ready to go but have it choked to 2 lanes and an 80k limit. And no sooner are you up to 100 then there's a work crew picking their nose and the limit down to 70...

Got the car really muddy on the slide area - quite the mess.

Needs more exhaust bits. Ha.

I feel your pain on the road muck. My car had a weeks worth plastered on it when I got home. Took way too long to make clean. Blah.

Did you trade the X in, while you were in Vancouver?
