Last time I was on the track, my new Potenzas took a real beating on the 535. The heat cycling and sliding shaved about 25% of the tread right away and what was left was noisy as hell from that point onward. Good times though.

I was hoping that my OE Continentals would have worn quicker than they have,
so that I have an excuse to get better rubber for next year.

...Damn things won't give up.

^Wayne, here changed his OE contis up recently to Extreme DW contis and said he had a big improvement at the track.

Make another few vacation trips and half dozen track days to ensure they're done

The Yokos I have seemed to fare very well once I got a few more miles on them to knock off the marbles and scrubbing. The Michelins PS1 and PS2 I've had took a lot more of a beating.
