Pretty nice beater, Gord. Stealthy for sneaking on and (especially) off the rig site.

There's a difference between a winter "beater" and a "winter beater". The first is a heap you don't care about, the second is your regular car getting you through the season in maximum comfort and with the latest tech for ABS, traction control and heated seats. In the spirit of the latter, I give you my "winter beater".

I can't afford to run two cars, so...

That would have been in my ultimate garage in highschool. Factory 31's - that would have been "Escalade" baller in my day.

They are usually miled out after two years with 130,000-160,000km the last one only had 40,000km but it was a pro off road with cloth interior this one was a LE with 20" wheels, sunroof and leather so it is a little nicer it rides alot better than the off road did as well.

I like the look of the Frontiers although I have never driven one. Out of the 350,000km I have put on the last 3 Titans i have never had any repairs other than oil changes and the one I put 160,000km on I put brake pads on it that is it for maintenance out side of fluid changes

Do those Titan's run on premium like the 3.5? I love the look of the Titans but they're a pit pricey and I've been hearing they're not that reliable.

I'm thinking Sylvans testimony of his 350k without issue should contradict any who says they're unreliable. As far as I can tell, Nissan doesn't make a product that can be labeled as unreliable.

140k in 2 years!!! I get stressed about the 30k I put on my car and truck a year.

Great Success with the Talon. I had to turn boost way down as it would go into 4 wheel drifts anywhere after 10psi. Its unstoppable with summer tires on it. Its every bit as good as my Subarus were. I had my concerns with a fwd bias awd system, but it was a hoot today! Rally Career, here I come.

My brothers girlfriends 2010 Versa went a week before going back to the dealer for a new one.

I wouldn't say unreliable though...
