FWIW Sam, we looked at cork a few years ago & came to the same conclusion.

 

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm looking to finish my basement, and I already have sub-floor installed and carpet ready to go. What I need is a supplier for underlay and someone who can install the underlay and carpet.

Does anyone have any recommendations for underlay sourcing and installation services in GTA (specifically, Stouffville/Markham)?
