For those kind of temps you need all the help you can get.
The oil in the pan will be like treacle.

does the 03 coupe come standard with a block heater? I found the prongs but it is like right near the grill and the cord is very short.

^ Mine too, but you'll have to find a way to plug it in. If you've run the battery down trying to start it, you'll need a charge while the block warms up and maybe a boost. Where are you that it's so cold. "Only" -21 here.

^ Yup, you'll need an extention cord, an outdoor one.

well I don't know if it is the battery because when I turn the ignition the lights, fan and radio still turn on.. would it be the battery is too weak to get the whole car to start up? Im live in Deadmonton lol and the supposedly its supposed to be the coldest winter in 50 years

Yes, the battery probably just doesnt have enough amperage in it to turn the engine over fast enough. A boost alone might get you going, but if the car is in the wind and its that cold, you should plug it in. Your batter might be on its last legs too. Put some money aside for a new one. Winters just beginning.

Might be the wind chill number. Of course, that doesn't apply to cars. You can't cool inanimate objects below ambient. It WILL cool faster, but not lower than ambient.

I got my car from Indiana and it didn't have a block heater.
Neither does my motorcycle...

If you have a block heater, for the love of god plug it in.
Anyone who claims " I never plug my car in, it starts everytime" is mind numbingly stupid
