HBO - FX - AMC seasons...

I don't watch too much tv, but have managed to notice that most of what is on is pretty much useless entertainment diarrhea.

On the recommendations from friends i've downloaded (Yarrrrgg!!) a few seasons of a few shows and Oh My **** is there some good shows out there!

Dexter (It i've watched for a few years now) 10/10 (Current season 8/10)
Sons of Anarchy (Just finished season 1) 7/10
Breaking Bad (Watched all three seasons this past week) 9/10
EastBound and Down (Hillarious) 9/10
Nurse Jackie (Season 1 is 10/10, 2 is 7/10)
Funny or Die (Super funny, but 1 or 2 episodes are a waste of time)7/10
The Walking Dead (Watching it week by week on AMC. So good!)
The Shield (6 or 8 seasons I have ready to watch. Hear good things)

What are you watching? Anything i'm missing?

Been following The Walking Dead, wouldn't mind catching a few of the others, especially Dexter. Never seen an episode.

I may ask Santa for The Pacific on Blu-ray.

Eastbound and down is an 11/10 in my book.

I also have been watching "they call me Fitz" with Jason Preasly it is quite funny.

I was into Sparticus but the star has hodkins so they are rerunning the first season. It is a cross between "300" & "gladiator" I also give it an 11/10

Your missing Entourage.

How to Make it in America is another under the radar HBO series. Season 2 starts next summer I think.

Funny or Die is also alright if your into the whole Will Ferrel or Zack Galifrinakis funny.

Also didnt see The Wire on your list. Some people think it's a top 10 of all time.

I dunno, I couldn't really say I liked Eastbound and Down. Heard it was hilarious but it was kinda boring.

I watched all the Dexter episodes and as anotherOAKg mentioned you're missing Entourage. Just got done watching all those episodes. Can't wait till season 8.

Gotta check out Boardwalk Empire, sounds interesting.

Another one that I've wondered what happened to is How To Make It In America. Aired one season and that's it.

I'll have to check out the other ones you mentioned. Wish I had a quicker internet speed. Seasons take a while to DL.

*edit: just noticed you mentioned How To Make It In America starts again next summer anotherOAKg. Damnit, that's too long of a wait, same with Entourage, right?

Don't have much to add, but I agree with you about the plethora of unadulterated garbage on the idiot box these days.

I am currently watching Dexter and Boardwalk Empire. This season of Dexter started out really slow but it's been getting very good over the couple of episodes. Boardwalk Empire is a fantastic show, I really enjoy it. I recently finished watch The Shield and absolutely loved it. The Shield and The Wire are two best Cop series out there for sure. I haven't seen the Walking Dead yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Fall 2011? Holy crap! That blows. Can't wait for the movie. I watched all the seasons last week. Crazy how Turtle lost so much weight. Drama was gettin annoying throughout the middle of the seasons but stopped gettin annoying at about the 6th. I so wish I knew someone famous and was part of their entourage.

I liked East Bound and down but I think the first season was a must see before the second season.

I threw Sparticus in there but I think it is actually on the Movie Channel.

Has no one seen it, seriously and awesome show if you liked 300, or Gladiator.
